Anyone to relate experience with and growing of cardoon in the Rogue Valley?

  2. Joshua Says:

From what I’ve seen, Cardoon does very well in the Rogue Valley. We have Artichokes in our garden and they don’t require anything of me to thrive.

Hi there! I blog about my garden in Roseburg, OR and just wanted to say that it’s nice to read about your garden in a similar climate. Also, your flowers are just beautiful! Nice work!

I am a Master Gardener Volunteer from North Carolina, have just returned from a 3 wk. visit with my family who resides in The Rolling Hills of The Palouse. I enjoyed putzin’ with my sister in her gardens. I just happened upon your website and enjoyed it tremendoulsy. I was very intrigued with several of your plants which I have a very hard time growing and not sure why! Poppies for one :0( which I love.
Have a good summer. I love your country and surely miss your “no humidity” factor.
